There was once an engineer who had two years to go before retiring. The heads of the corporation felt they could save a lot of money if they forced this man to quit before his time so they reclassified his job title to 'toilet custodian'.

The man was proud but he also needed his retirement fund so he spent the next two years cleaning toilets.

This story proved a pet theory of mine that the only reason some corporations exist is to give people the shits.
