For whatever reason, the man decided he needed a thrifty woman in his life. One day at work he overheard, "Every day I go out with someone. They pay for the meals and each week my entire paycheck goes straight to the bank."

That sounded thrifty to him. He went over to ask her for a date. He said, "I'd like to take you to the most expensive restaurant in town." Her eyes lit up. "But you pay for everything."

For unforeseen reasons she became agitated and started yelling at him, "You son of a bitch! I wouldn't go out with you if you were the last man on earth. You're probably descended from a bunch of baboons, and your relatives, you bastard, if you have any, are still probably living in trees."

The man felt disheartened, like life was playing a practical joke on him. He finally found a thrifty woman, he wanted to go out with her and she turned him down just because she didn't like his relatives.
